Regardless of what I try, when using www.speedtest.net (app), the speed is limited to around 380-400 Mbps. However, the test through the FING app shows better results, which is puzzling. On the 2400 Mbit/s link, the speed is around 720 Mbps, and on the 1200 Mbit/s link, around 620 Mbps.
Internal speedtest in the console:
Download: 980.97 Mbit/s
Upload: 155.32 Mbit/s
iperf3 test:
2400 Mbit/s link: 1.3-1.5 Gbps
1200 Mbit/s link: 600-750 Mbps
With the original firmware, speeds used to exceed 800 Mbps.
I would greatly appreciate some help in identifying the issue. It seems like something is artificially limiting the speed to around 400 Mbps. How can I resolve this? Also, is it possible to revert to the original firmware from Cudy? If so, how can it be done?
Yes, I asked about this on Reddit, and they told me to ask on the official forum. I don’t see the point of nitpicking over units when everyone clearly understood what I meant anyway... It won’t help me or anyone else solve the problem in the future.
Nope, everything is quite confused.
Feel free to edit your message and correct what's wrong. Also precise the role of the device (AP, router) and its configuration files /etc/config/network and /etc/config/wireless
Also notice that channel 120 is an unauthorized channel within DFS restrictions. Try channel 36.

There is nothing fancy in your settings. I assume that no encryption is for the tests.
This means that the wifi link between your laptop and the AP is very good. It only involves the AP and no other part of the network.
Your tests showing poor results involve the switch, the main router and routing to the internet. The problem is not in the AP but elsewhere in the network, orrouting performance in the router.
"I'm also slowly coming to the conclusion that the problem must lie somewhere else. But why does it specifically affect the AP and not the entire network? Over a cable, all devices in the same test utilize the full bandwidth, and nothing blocks them at those 400 Mbps."
