CPU Usage inside KVM

Hi,

When iam downloading something my OpenWRT KVM CPU Load goes up to 2.0 and greater (mainly because of sirq) but the same setup running fine in LXC. When iam change the nic from virtio to something else (E1000, vmxnet) it’s even worse. Iam using proxmox as HV for both. Is something wrong with the virtio Driver’s?!

[Solved] X86_64 regular traffic slow but Wireguard wow

So, I upgraded to gigabit Ethernet, and I have tested with a laptop. I get about 900 Mbps/900 Mbps. I'm using a VM running OpenWrt x86_64...I move my configs...and do some speed tests... I'm getting about 4 up/4 down ...but it get weirder Thru a Wireguard connection, I'm getting 200/300 ...despite I'm still missing some bandwidth...how in the world am I'm only getting 4/4 with normal LAN-to-WAN; but the same client sent thru the the same interfaces to and passes…

I could give it a try (disable offloading) but I don’t think it’s the root cause, because it was working in the past (I don’t know when it stopped to work)
