Cool tip: Scrolling in the forum

Maybe everyone else knows this, but I was delighted to discover this feature of Discourse. As topics get long (with dozens of messages), it's a pain to scroll to the top of the list to get to the Latest/New/Unread/Top buttons.

Tip: Move to the top of the forum (showing all categories) in two clicks, even if you're scrolled way down in a topic:

  • Click once on the topic title at the top of the page. This brings you to the first message of the topic, and makes "LEDE Project Forum" available at the top of the window.
  • Click on "LEDE Project Forum" to see all the categories.

there is a dedicated scrollbar you can use to scroll up and down in the topic, it is much faster than using the browser's scrollbar, and also shows date and post number while you scroll.

Also, this post is in the wrong section. @tmomas or @richb-hanover-priv can you move it?
