Connected clients graph in multi-node network

In a network with one main router and several "dumb" access points, with network segmentation and mesh topology, are there good suggestions for software packages to visualize all the connected clients grouped by access point, interface, wired/wireless and so on?

I would expect you will likely have to collect the data yourself and get it into a format that some visualization understands.
