Don't know how to name this, its a bit complicated, in the morning/evening I am on my pc, so I run a lan cable from the main router to my deco m4r with openwrt installed, what I want to do since I have basically no internet upstairs without a lan cable, is use my lan cable and forward that to my pc with another lan cable, reason being is so I can use sqm, which the main router doesn't support, but at the same time connect the deco to the wireless internet from the main router and forward that to a new ap. Is this possible?
You are looking for this setup:

Or if you draw cable between floors:

Sorry, but I'm confused...
How is the PC connected to the main router or the deco?
Wait! Which devices are upstairs and which aren't?
Like two ethernet cables spliced together? router <> deco <> PC?
Using SQM in a router that is not the main router is probably not gong to give you the results you expect...
Wait! Weren't you using an ethernet cable?
Is that a new device you are planing to buy?
what do you mean, the pc is connected with another ehternet cable to the deco, the deco is connected with another cable to my main router downstairs, and at night I can't have an ethernet cable going upstairs as someone will trip over it and it doesnt look good, and i cant yet route it anywhere else, so at night it needs to be connected through wireless so im not gonna keep losing connectiong
