I’m trying to find how to configure Pÿur Fiber but I cannot find any information. Does anyone knows how do I connect?
Ask your ISP? Spoiler, just forget to get IPv6 working with them. They also operate in my area and it's a total shit show with them. Even business lines are total crap. If you can try to get a line from Deutsche Telekom.
Yeah. I send them a message. The problem is that they called me back 3 times but I don’t speak German and the person calling doesn’t speak English. Which is fair since it’s Germany but it will take some time before I will learn German and I might need internet in meantime.

Too late. My makerspace friends were adament to choose them over Pyur…
Google for ‘pyur fibre settings’ and AI seems to think the WAN connection is DHCP.
I can understand them, see https://netzbremse.de/ (I'm also trying to avoid them, sadly they are rolling out fiber over here and the local ISP doesn't offer their services over Telekom fiber, yet)
Maybe your makerspace friends also use OpenWRT with Pÿur and can tell you the right settings from their own routers?
I meant Pyur over DT.
Yes dtag may has some issues with some peerings but I'm a customer for over 20 years by now. I maybe have one connectivity issue per year. I get more bandwidth then I pay for and IPv6 with a /56 just works since over a decade. So by comparison it's the provider with at least issues here. Yeah maybe not cheap but more or less zero Hussle with them ![]()
I am not a pyur Fan, read so many bad things about them.
And DTAG is at least offering real Dual Stack, so I would always go for DTAG.
But anyways, u already have pyur now, so as far as I get it, DHCP on WAN is all u need.
Should be pretty simple
Yeah should... Friend of mine had to call them for like 10 times till he got an ipv4 lease.
Pyur also operates "data centers". You should stay far away from these too.
Tldr expect the worst with them every time.
If you've figured out the wan settings for the ISP, post them, and we'll update the ISP page in the wiki.
Ok. I will. Unfortunately I need to have internet before I move in so it will take a few days before I start trying.
