I own a TP-Link Archer C20 v4 with OpenWrt 23.05.4 r24012 installed.
Its internal storage is divided by 1.94 Mib for "disk" and 27.95 Mib for "TEMP". I need more storage space for programs, at least 2 Mib more. The TEMP space is only 3% used.
How can I add more space to "disk"?
/tmp is RAM, not storage.
The device has more than 2 Mb of flash memory, hasn't it?
Where do you think the firmware is stored ?
That's a bad news...
You could try to make a custom image and remove all the things that you don't need. Might get lucky. But 8MB in the end is not much storage space.
You need to use auc/cuci-app-attendedsysupgrade even after installing a package to keep config space from filling up.
Since it is fresh install you can go with 24.10.0-rcX, then one day upgrade to 24.10.0 release when it comes out.
