Comtrend VR-3026e v2

Hello,

I am unable to install the below image on Comtrend VR-3026e v2, however I suppose it should be almost the same. Below output, same happens when trying with gui. If you have any advice I would appreciate it.

Thanks in advance

a good result. blindly flashing a firmware for non same version routers is a 1 in 200 chance of half working.

"suppose should be the same".... is not acceptable. you have to justify that claim, or you really should not be attempting this procedure.

aha and you know this is not the case? Im 99% confident this is same HW. I will try to install there SW for v1 and if I succeed, I will come back and "justify my claim" as you said

oh yeah and I just did install this SW linked the openwrt document and guess what? It did nothing. Why? Because I already have it installed. SW for v1 and v2 are same

So anyone has any useful tip please?

one tip... might be to read the installation method from the V1 that you posted. Specifically the Installation and Recovery method ( CFE webflash )

You are aware that tftp != webflash?

Further, I'm confused if the OP is flashing official OpenWrt firmware, or OEM firmware.

Yeah but its a bit confusing. Gonna have to find more time to go through it, unless you guys have some tutorial for dummies

thanks for the tip
