I have a NetGear wndr3700 with a working setup (Atheros AR7161 rev 2) and I'd like to clone its setup to a wndr3700/v4 (Atheros AR9344 rev 2) with a fresh install. Both are running 18.06.1. Can I do this just with backup/restore? I did change the IP in the backup to match the v4's current IP. Thanks!
Things like the network, system and wireless config files are usually device specific.
I would not recommend blindly restoring those into another type of device.
