Client drops connection several times a day

Hello,

I am using two openwrt installations (one on a Xiaomi AX3600 and one on a Redmi AX6).

I have several problems with connection issues.
My Notebook (Acer, with Intel Wi-Fi AY201 160 Mhz Wifi Module) drops the connection a few times a day.
The AX3600 is a dumb AP with dnsmasq, firewall and odhcpd disabled. It is is connected via cable after a Fritzbox (Fritzbox is Main Router). The Client is 1,5 meter away from the AX3600.
I allready set the disassoc_low_ack Parameter to false, but the issue still exists.

Here a the logs from a drop:

I believe I have observed the same behavior with an Intel AX200 on an older laptop, but didn't investigate. This setup was an old Toshiba Satellite R630 with Debian Linux Bookworm, which occasionally drops perfectly viable connections to a closer access point and then reconnects to an almost unusable signal one with the same SSID.

As this machine is rarely used (it's in the garage and I use it to flash controllers) I never bothered to check out what the problems were.

If there are any test scenarios that I could contribute to solving with this hardware, I'd be happy to help out.

Thank you for your answer, @Herald !

This is my laptop from work, using MS Teams more than 8 hours, I recognized it
Today I will try only connect to the AX3600 via an external usb device and hope, that the drops does not occur and the problem exists only with the laptop device.

Before flashing openwrt the problem doesnt occur with original firmware. My initial reason to install openwrt was the analysis from my pi-hole, that, after one week, 99% of my network traffic are going to miwifi.com and NTP-Servers, initiaing by the AX3600.

Btw, installed on both APs is @dimfish release from 20221118 .

Unfortunately, there are other devices in the system log, which are beeing disconnected (several reasons could this be )

I have to tell you, though, that I never experienced the same problems with other network adapters, like my AX210 in an older Samsung laptop and whatever they deploy on the Framework laptop on Debian (bookworm) or any of my other partly ancient devices (Galaxy Note 4, e.g.)

My company laptop is Windows 10  and I wouldn't know where to start looking to find out what the network adapter is. Never gave me any trouble regarding wireless connectivity at my home setup either, however.

I hope this works out well!
