There's other discussion up here as well as on another post.
PoE PSE support is in leo's git tree but it's not been upstreamed yet as it's not ready?

Correct. I'd be glad if someone could take a look at this, as I have a ton of topics on hand already.
Picked up another MX65 (for $22 CAD), no wireless in this one.
Held down the reset button while booting, plugged in the USB, able to telnet in and flash uboot. rebooted again with USB holding down reset, booted off the flash drive, copied over the sysupgrade.bin that Leo created via WinSCP, wrote it, http and whamo.. a fully working openwrt MX65 w/ POE once again.
Loving this image and being able to reclaim what will be an abundance of quality MX65 hitting the used market as they come off lease and EOL.
Is the wireless supported in mx65w?
Device page says that it is not supported but wanted to check if there was any development on it or plans to be supported?
Broadcom wireless from an OSS perspective is pretty much a no-go =)
Not going to say impossible but maybe before the heat death of the universe =)
HI!
Happy New Year to everyone!
THANKS to all for all the work done for MERAKI to support OPENWRT!
Today I opened brand new MX65 from box, connected to LAN with PC IP 192.168.1.2 and created USB (4 Gb) FAT formatted. Copied to USB uboot_mx65 from here: https://github.com/clayface/U-boot-MX64-20190430_MX65 and followed manual from here: bcm53xx: add support for Cisco Meraki MX64/MX65 by clayface · Pull Request #3996 · openwrt/openwrt · GitHub
for MX65.
After Rebooting MX65 it does not boot into diagnostic mode and it flashes white 3 short times (orange>white>orange>white>orange>white>orange) and then stays solid orange.
No Telnet is available and no USB is recognized, no matter which USB drive I use (Have many different sizes and manufacturer versions!)
What the heck?
Why MX65 not booting anymore? There is no SERIAL communication either over J5, it does give something over serial, but these are unrecognizable characters…
P.S.
I GOT IT RUNNING on OPENWRT.......(figured out what was wrong)
Would you mind sharing, what was wrong then, for easier troubleshooting for others in future?
