Hello the TOH suggests there is a snapshot availble for this unit. it seems to use the same chipset as the awesome MR33 indoor units.
Are there any plans to support this unit formally under the general release cycle.
Or does anyone have any suggestions as to a simliar Outdoor access point?

Whatever is present in master/ snapshots now, should be in the next major stable release (23.xy.0, not 22.03.x) - unless there are major reasons for it not to be (e.g. image size with luci too large for its flash, major problems with its target, major bugs; none of these would be likely for this hardware - it just came too late for 22.03.0).
@slh Thank you for the explanation. I will keep an eye out and see if the device gets any interest. It is a great device and is very similar to the MR33 but in outdoor 2 x 2 form.
