Chroot: No such file or directory

I'm running a a style of OpenWrt on a GL-iNet router. They have a modified version for their use.
I've installed EasyTether and connected a couple times

Recently I've been receiving the error "chroot: No such file or directory" when trying to connect my phone va USB. Seems pretty generic. How do I diagnose this? Is OpwnWrt Arch based? Why chroot? There are some fundamental things I dont understand...

root@GL-MT3000:~# easytether-usb
acquired interface tap-easytether
no device match (see setup wizard in EasyTether on your phone)
root@GL-MT3000:~# easytether-usb
acquired interface tap-easytether
chroot: No such file or directory
root@GL-MT3000:~#

This was working for months then I tried it one day and got this error.

Yup... their firmware is quite heavily modified. So much so that it is no longer supportable here -- it's a black box to us.

Please refer to their forums for help with this problem since you are running their firmware.

I guess you can delete my thread then. No real use to anyone. Thanks.

Any ideas on chroot: No such file or directory That's got to be pretty generic?

Due to the nature of the modifcations they do, the problem you are experiencing cannot be considered "generic." Further, easytether isn't even available in the official OpenWrt repo, so this really is a question for gl-inet.
