I am getting this error when attempting to flash an image which I am sure is correct.
Luci also fails but does attempt, router resets with orange light then does not install new firmware.
I am also switching to stable release from a snap.
Am I correct in thinking that I am jumping too many upgrades since my current is:
22.03-snap... with 5.10.113 kernel?

Yes upgrading to latest stable.
No I haven't, wanted to make sure I don't increase risk of bricking - I'll try that now.
Interesting update, I disconnected power over night, and this morning I am running the latest stable release! albiet I lost all my data.
Only thing I can think of is, RAM was emptied? /tmp folder cleared?
