Hi.
I am looking for a cheap OpenWRT device with good 2.4Ghz wifi range, which a can buy brandnew in Germany. The device will be used a a dump accesspoint. I searched a bit on my own. It seems like the Cudy WR3000, WR3000S or Asus RT-AX53U could be the device that I am looking for.
Any further recommendations?

Gl mt300n-v2 makes an excellent 2.4GHz only access point. Better range than many with external antennas. It is a tiny yellow box 55x55x25mm micro-usb powered. I have mounted many of these inside a small plastic box for outside use, pointing the domed topside of the unit in the direction of coverage eg a beer garden. Really good coverage - happy beer garden customers
