Can't setup eth0/wlan0, pay for adv. set up guide

Using Raspberry Pi 4 flashed with OpenWrt raspberry pi 4 factory image have all the other main downloads saved as well.

Have hdmi and display, keyboard, can log in as root, change password, then hit a wall for weeks now...

Been able to connect to wifi, but then can't opkg update or really connect.

Unsure if I have been making the flinstones like mistake of plugging in the ethernet in the wrong port. Should the proper hardware connection flow be:

ISP router ethernet port (connected via ethernet cable) --> Raspberry Pi 4 ethernet port.

Or should it be:

ethernet cable from cable box --> Raspberry Pi 4 (no connection the ISP router).

What is it that you are trying to accomplish with your Pi?

Only port on RPi will be LAN, it'll ignore your upstream DHCP.

You need to reconfigure it.
