Did you upgrade packages?
(if you haven't, don't). I am only checking if this might be the reason for your problem.

I had that package installed before upgrading, but since it disappeared from the menu I think that it got wiped and needs to be installed again.
I didn't installed/upgraded anything else since upgrading to 18.06.2
Maybe I am missing something?

Oh, maybe I need to run
opkg update
before trying to install any package?

Definitely. Flashing a new image does not retain the user-installed packages.

and then I have updated the wiki page to avoid wasting time again on the next upgrade!
