Cant Build OpenWRT

Hello,

Im trying to build OpenWRT from the source.

When i reach the step to update the feeds i keep getting this error

#$> ./scripts/feeds update -a

Build dependency: Please install the GNU C Compiler (gcc) 4.8 or later

I tried different versions of OpenWRT and i keep getting the same error, even though i have gcc 11 installed, which is greater than 4.8.

I have this problem for2 days now and cant get past it.

Does anybody know how to fix, I cant seem to install gcc 4.8 there is always some issue installing it.

Hello, When I try to update the feeds I keep getting this message Build dependency: Please install the GNU C Compiler (gcc) 4.8 or later Build dependency: Please install the GNU C++ Compiler (g++) 4.8 or later But i have gcc and g++ version 11.3.0 installed, but i keep getting this message. Does anybody know how to fix? Thanks
