Cannot reboot my router after the extroot drive /dev/sda stopped working

hello, thanks, recently i did extroot and it seemed to be working.
please, there must be a low-level way reboot the router in this situation, without pulling the powercable??

i think there is an issue with the usb drive, as /dev/sda no longer exists.

i thought i would run reboot now from the ssh terminal, but does not work.

root@OpenWrt:~# reboot now
-ash: reboot: I/O error

cannot even run help ??

root@OpenWrt:~# help
-ash: help: I/O error

and cannot even do firstboot

firstboot
-ash: firstboot: I/O error

If the commands can't be read from disk, how are they supposed to execute?

hi,

well, no matter what, i should be able to run reboot?
and there is /rom

at this point, just need a way to firstboot && reboot?

reboot is a command, like any other.

Is it actually there ?

thanks, yes, and therefore, should not have an issue with commands such as reboot and firstboot.

anyhoo, i factory reset the router and will not be using extroot going forward.
for me, a router should just work, extroot is a good thing, but not on a primary router of a home or business.
