Hi,
I tried to flash my Xiaomi Alot AC2350, my current firmware is global one- Version 3.0.36.
I checked the file integrity via powershell it's a match, I did factory reset my router, then I ran the command with my stok value and ip: "http:///cgi-bin/luci/;stok=/api/misystem/set_config_iotdev?bssid=any&user_id=any&ssid=-h%0Anvram%20set%20ssh_en%3D1%0Anvram%20commit%0Ased%20-i%20%27s%2Fchannel%3D.%2A%2Fchannel%3D%5C%5C%22debug%5C%5C%22%2Fg%27%20%2Fetc%2Finit.d%2Fdropbear%0A%2Fetc%2Finit.d%2Fdropbear%20start%0A"
The return value was: {“code”:0}
but when I try to login to putty it says connection refused, I tried powershell same issue, so I can't get access to SSH.
Can anyone help me with detailed guide please? From first to last.
Thanks in advance
Here it goes, first you need to downgrade old Chona FW.
I saw it thoroughly, but can't connect all the dots, saw many tutorials and tried some methods, downgrade you meant the chinese old firmware? I heard if I downgrade I can't go back to global one , also many instructions are not mentioned,like ssh backup, flash, using tftp and others. Is it same to do all these? I don't have any spare router and downgrading is simple ? just flash firmware from miwifi web ui update driver manually would work?
The reason I want to try OpeenWRT is the stovk firmware lacks SQM. I need SQM, Xiaomi ALot AC2350 is capable enough to give stabilize SQM, as I heard SQM need powerful CPU, also I heard OpenWRT frimware in Xiaomi router works best. SO It's worth it?
Thanks alot for the reply, I appreciate your help in the installation process, I'm facing others issues also like my link speed drops to 100mbps, even I set the wan port speed to 1gb, and 2.5gbps full duplex in network adaptar. if I face the link speed drop issues I need to change the lan port in router and it works after trying some some switching,if it fails factory reset or flashing the official global firmware again typically solves the issue. Xiaomi stock firmware is not good and they don't bother giving new firmware update, I know they stopped giving updates for my router, SO I need overall stability, good speed and stable performance.
Hoping to hear from you at your convenience, thanks again for the reply.
