Cannot Connect to Internet AP3825i

I have a Extreme Networks AP3825i that I am trying to connect to the internet and act as my main router. I have eth0 connected to my Cable Modem and eth1 connected to my switch. I can ping from my PC connected to the switch the AP and vice-versa, but I cannot access the internet from the AP.

Here is my config file. I am going to use this as my main router as my router just died. It was configured as a dump AP and that did work.

config interface 'loopback'

        option ipaddr '192.168.50.4'
        option netmask '255.255.255.0'

config interface 'wan'
        option proto 'dhcp'

I added the wan interface and tried to configure, but no internet.

Thanks for any help

Have you restarted your cable modem? This is frequently required for cable modems since they "learn" the MAC address of the directly connected equipment and will only issue an IP address to that single learned MAC. Restarting your cable modem, possibly a few times, will clear the old MAC and allow it to learn a new one.

I will try right now!

It worked, as simple as that. Thank you!
