I have a r7800 and bpi-r3. R7800 is based on QCA ipq806x and bpi-r3 is based on MTK mt7986. After checking, it seem that the 2.4G and 5G wifi leds are not implemented by GPIO in both platforms. The 2.4/5 G leds are connected to the wifi chip. Is this correct? If yes, why not use GPIO? Affect the performance if GPIO is used?
