Hi I have a TP-link VR600 v2 adsl/vdsl modem router and I was wondering if I can run the TP-link VR2600v v1 openwrt firmware on it.

If it's not in the table of hardware then you most probably can't. And according to the limited information in other forums it's Broadcom-based so there is very little chance of support - and if, then without DSL and WiFi.
