Can I install openwrt to my robot vacuum cleaner if it's Mediatek?

Wouldn't it be awesome? We would use it as an AP aswell. It would use something as small as 128MB, and when it hits some obstacle we could program it to say "get outta way b*ch" or something.

I saw something like that today, the robot cleaner hits something and it yells something that the user programmed it to.

Short answer: no.

Longer answer: If you're willing to put in the effort, maybe you could get it to work. I don't see how this would be useful, but if you want to spend that time...

You will need the controller model running out of thing like matlab to do the dust sucking and charge control.

I am thinking that maybe a robot arm arises out of it, it might carry a coffee or something :stuck_out_tongue:

Yep, 2 servo gears and CV guidance is not your average RC baby shark.

LOL a access point that can follow you around the house

I just saw this yesterday - not openwrt but people installing an app into their vacuum that allows it to run independently of cloud services https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/post/57494965
