Can I flash DLink DIR 600 A1's OpenWrt image to DLink DIR 600L A1?

I have a DLink DIR 600L A1, and I cannot find any image for it. The only available image is that of DLink DIR 600 A1. So, can I flash the DLink DIR 600 A1's image to DLink DIR 600L A1. Please guide through.

Thanks

Tried the looking glass on top right corner?

Yes, but did not find any concrete answer

It is 4/32 device, if there was any OpenWRT support it was 10 years ago.

I have few of them and wanted to reuse them for a local project. Anyways

Maybe dd-wrt still has some support for them. But certainly not modern OpenWRT.

dd-wrt also does only have support for DLink DIR 600 A1

OpenWrt does not run on 4/32 devices anymore (neither sufficient flash, nor sufficient RAM), these devices are only fit for the e-recycling.

Ok. Thanks. Even older images ?

Older versions are not supported anymore (you would have to go back more than half a decade, which is an eternity in security terms) and do contain known/ unfixed security issues (WAN side, LAN side and wireless side), which preclude them from being used in any capacity.

Just to provide some background.

It is currently proposed to drop support for devices with 'only' 64 MB RAM right now

and 8 MB flash are hard at their limit as well.

(and yes, I am serious about the recycling centre suggestion, I already had to do that with with four of my own devices, with two others (8/32 and 8/64) pending this path, when I next lay my hands on them (they're already powered off/ unplugged for a long time).

give it a go they are headed for the bin anyway
don't matter if you brick it now

can't use as a router/firewall tho not unsecure
just as a client
not sure about the security even for only a dump ap tho
