Can I compile kernel module without info strip using SDK?

currently the kmod-ovpn-dco-v2 module is info-stripped. so the file "/sys/module/ovpn_dco_v2/version" is missing.

it seems the kernel config parameter "CONFIG_MODULE_STRIPPED" is doing the work, but I don't know how to get rid of it.

I try to download openwrt SDK and modify "CONFIG_MODULE_STRIPPED=n" and "#define CONFIG_MODULE_STRIPPED=0 " for the files I can find. but compiled module still lack the "version" info.

can I use SDK to do the job? or I need to start with full openwrt source code to compile a non-stripped kernel module?

thanks a lot for help!

No (at least not easily), you need the full build system.
