Does anyone have an Openwrt device plugged into a Calix GP 1100X ONT ?
I am to get one of these with my fiber install but can find no information about its software . I cant even find what its dimensions are .
How is this Openwrt related?

Just trying to anticipate what my Openwrt experience might be when connecting to the device
As any upstream device, packets go in and out .... ?

An ONT can operate many different ways depending on the configuration that the ISP pushes to it. You need to know how your ISP operates. For example your connection can be IPoE (ordinary DHCP) or pppoe. The port may require VLAN tags on the Ethernet cable or it may want untagged.

Even though I seem to be the only person in the Openwrt world that interfaces with this device I am reporting that it works without issue , at least for IPV4 .
Have not tried IPV6 .
This is in Southeast US isp Brightspeed .
