I used ubuntu on my old pc but I will buy a new one with fedora on it, I would like to know if fedora is good to build open wrt firmware?

While the buildbots are mostly using Debian/stable, 'any' semi-recent general purpose linux distribution should do, including Fedora. Very 'edgy' distros might be the first to hit issues, but those are typically found and fixed rather quickly.
I wouldn't be concerned about the major distros (arch, Debian, Fedora, gentoo, Mageia, OpenSuSE, Ubuntu).
I've built on Fedora in the past, with out any issues.
I am using Fedora for years to build OpenWrt including new 37 and it works fine
