Build kismet on Archer C7

What is best practise to install (build) kismet on a mips device?
Initially tried but fails in some dependencies libpcap stuff but libpcap is installed?
only wanting the drone so ncurses is deselected in build.
Can some one walk me trough the build process for the "TP link Archer C7 v4" mips device. seams to be great for monitoring while using both a dual stream 2.4ghz and a triple stream 5Ghz, if just the speed is adequate .

You have the runtime libpcap installed, you need the development package, which is not readily available.

You don't build anything on the router at all, everything needs to be cross-compiled in a build environment, details are described in the wiki.

It’s a good router, I found the firmware for this model somewhere on the Internet, I searched for a long time, but I found it. First, I flashed the eu version of the standard tp-link firmware, and then uploaded the downloaded openwrt image, you need to connect via a switch just in case, and then you upload your favorite assembly through the Luci menu.
I don’t remember where I downloaded it from, but I can share the finished firmware image via ftp, I just don’t know if it’s possible to post links here.
and again, if something goes wrong, you will get a brick
I found the image specifically for the eu version, so if you have a different country on the router label, then you probably need to, I don’t know for sure, first flash it on eu, and then flash it on wrt.
Personally, I did exactly this and everything worked out perfectly.
