So, what happened here was that @Turbovix hijacked my 2-yo question asking me about where I've got Nbox's firmware, saying that he couldn't access it by browser, but got terminal access through serial. He then said that the firmware he downloaded from the manufacturer site doesn't seem to be working.
I then answered that I needed to check on my OneDrive files, because recently I erased my computer for some linux testing and I might have backed up my files there. I then asked, to confirm, if the firmware available on that link didn't work for him.
On his second message, he says he's been trying the 1.4 version I linked, but didn't knew if he was doing things the right way, mentioned he was using Windows but was more comfortable with Linux. Says he used tftpd to work as a server, said he couldn't rename the bin file to boot.bin and that whenever he serial access the device and chooses option 2 before boot, and setup device IP for the tftpd server he gets a bad checksum error message and gets stuck there.
I'm going to tell him now that I haven't really been working with these things for the past 2 years and I can't be of much help at the moment, and that he should create a new topic for his questions and problems, instead of hijacking another =)
