Build for Belkin RT3200 (Linksys E8450) [UBI] and Redmi AX6S (Xiaomi AX3200)

It's worth a shot, but I'm making a new build now anyways with ip6tables included that you can test in a bit. I'll tell you once it's ready/uploaded.

hi diogenes can you explained the packages for build firewall iptables please ? thnaks

This is an interesting comparison of your result. I use DSLreports and I only seem to ever be able to reach 1 server in Switserland (maybe because I am based in Europe), maybe another in the US if I am lucky. For that reason I am somewhat wary of the results. Do you have the same results when using other online measuring tools such as fast.com? I am thinking of switching to the Belkin RT3200, but do use SQM (cake) extensively and wondered what I could expect for a 1Gigabit download internet connection. Thanks in advance for any indications.

You're responding to a post from a year ago, at this point it's becoming increasingly clear DSLReports is defunct. Use other provides like e.g. Waveform:

Yes, waveform is another good provider. My question is whether any Belkin RT3200 users have recent results on providers such as Waveform and or Fast.com?

Everyone agrees this is the best way to ship openwrt on those devices, rigth? no downside at all.

@diogenes is now just adding packages people ask at random. Why not make it easier on everyone and make this the default way to distribute official images?

anything missing for this? Im just arriving at this thread after a year away from openwrt and this is the obvious conclusion i get from reading all messages here.

Hello! I just wanted to ask @diogenes if you were planning any new builds in the near future. Also, it seems that the link to access the build repository is gone. Anyway, thanks for all the support!

I just noticed this build and wanted to investigate for a rt3200/e8450. Where can i find the binaries?

I don't see anything here: https://owrt.plzh4x.me/mediatek*

Sorry gents but I'm no longer supporting this build. I don't use these devices any more, so I don't want to be publishing untested builds.

I'd suggest just using something like this https://firmware-selector.openwrt.org/?version=22.03.5&target=mediatek%2Fmt7622&id=linksys_e8450 to make your own builds with custom packages if needed.
