Hi zyxmon,

have installed LEDE on Asus RT-AC58U and now trying to remove with no luck, have attempted multiple times to use Asus rescue utility and tftp tool to return to latest stock image and also using putty via ssh commands.

basically every time i flash via the Asus firmware recovery tool it successfully writes and then returns to the Luci interface.

is there any direct way of returning to factory firmware successfully, im a newbie at Openwrt/Lede.

Please follow the instructions I have posted. Remove all ethernet cables but one connected to the computer with stock firmware.
Try another computer with different ethernet card.
You can also use UART to restore stock firmware.
