Build Fail OpenWrt

make -r world: build failed. Please re-run make with -j1 V=s or V=sc for a higher verbosity level to see what's going on

The build system tells you expressis verbis what to do, try it.

@slh Could please link the documentation for troubleshooting the most common build errors? Provide any documentation that helps triage or resolve these errors?

As @slh said, it is all documented in the make -j1 V=sc output.

It will be up to you to parse the output from the point of make world : build failed. backwards through the verbose output to find out what’s going on.

Most times, it’s obvious and usually fixed, but if not, you will be able to point to the direct initial cause to solicit further support.

Question. What is the effect of incorrect fiber polarity?

On the OpenWrt build process? Probably none.

Why are my comments striking guidelines when clearly, I can search and paste many others which use fowl language and discontent?

A simple make download fails because of the qosify package, which is selected by default if compiling "as is". How are people supposed to learn when they are continuous roadblocks from the beginning? If some are to exert bravado then practice what you preach. Take pride in what you do instead of expecting others to accept your failures.

Read the build documentation perhaps?

Did you install the feeds before building?
