Bug in IPv6-Suffix (hex) max 8 characters?

Before upgrading to 23.05.2 I was using 16 characters to form a IPv6 suffix which was fixed after 19.10 using 64 bit address. It worked fine until 23.05.0

Please increase the 8 character limit to 16.
