BT Smart Hub Type A

Hi All,

I've acquired a BT Smart Hub Type A.
These posts

suggest it is a lost cause.

Before I pass it on, is there any value in tearing it down and documenting it? It only cost £5 so I am happy to destroy it if it helps the cause. If so, let me know what you want and where to put it.

Contrary to the lantiq GRX350 based Type B (which is at least theoretically supportable, although it isn't right now, nor anytime soon), Type A is a Broadcom design, which isn't supported (at least xDSL modem and wireless), nor 'ever' will be.

Thanks for replying. I'll stick it back together then and pass it on.

Cheers.
