Ive got a pair of hub5s that are running version 19 if you want a spare and are in the uk? (ironically it seems to be the day for hub5's as someone else had theirs die too.)

Hi, I am in the UK. I already have one BTHH5A running preinstalled OpenWrt. Thank you for the offer However, I intend to familiarise myself with flashing OpenWrt firmware. I think I will buy a used one on ebay.

no probs. just try keep boot_sel pulsing as short as possible. It can fry the chip otherwise.

There are other easier routers to flash but make sure you read up and make sure you watch for little issues like that.
