BT HomeHub 5 Type A RAM Upgrade Guide

Hi friends, sorry, I have a question. Is it possible to upgrade the RAM and FLASH chip of the BT HomeHub 5 Type A router from 128 MB to 256 MB? Does Openwrt support higher capacity RAM without any problems or the need to change the firmware?

Please tell me the complete list of RAMs and flash drives that I can use on this router?
Thanks

E-waste not worth upgrading.

It is, if you're on a *DSL line.

If you have to ask, the answer is a firm 'no'.

Not saying that it can't be done, but doing so would be totally up to you (as would future OpenWrt development would be for this modified hardware), you would be the one to test out the limits and create the 'list' you're asking for. In general, on any NAND based device, it's going to be difficult - for many reasons, neither would replacing the RAM be considered easy.
