Bricked Mikrotik RB5009 please advise

Hi, i followed part of the instructions here https://openwrt.org/toh/mikrotik/rb5009ug_s_in?s[]=link and i managed to boot into initramfs image.

After installing the sysupgrade image the router is stuck in a boot loop.

Unfortunatelly this is where things get strange. when trying to redo a TFTP boot using Tiny PXE i get stuck in a loop where i see in the log:

DHCPd REQUEST received
DHCPd ACK sent
TFTPd Do read file u-boot.elf
**router seems to restart**
DHCPd REQUEST received
DHCPd ACK sent
TFTPd Do read file u-boot.elf

Also i am unable to detect the device using mikrotik's netinstall. So at this point i am stuck.

Has this happened to anyone else? is there any other way to move forward and installing openwrt again? Or at least reinstalling the Router OS so that the router can work again.

As it turns out, this was not a bricked router situation, but rather a windows not finding the ethernet adapter situation.

If this happens to anybnody else using windows try what i did, connect an unmanaged switch between the router and your PC, confirm that the ethernet adapter appears and your ip settings are set up ok, then try netinstall again.
