Best Router for OpenWrt 2022

Hello,

Now I have Wrt32x, I'm very happy with what OpenWrt allow to do, but speed over Wifi is very shitty.
I already thinking about to sell it and buy any other router with same tech. spec but which will work 100% perfect with openWrt.

Or it is doesn't matter which router and firmware works almost same on all routers?

Get an AP and turn off the radios.

Hm you mean Wifi set to AP and turn off Radio 2 (Marvell 88W8887 802.11acbgn).
Then it is done.

No, I mean get an AP device capable of OpenWrt, or otherwise, run a CATx backhaul to your venom, and turn all radios off on the venom.
