Beginner Help With TP-Link TL-WN725N (R8188EU) USB Dongle

Hi, I installed the snapshot from scratch (no upgrade) the problem is the Luci gui is not working it says "Unable to connect" on my web browser when I put in the ip address for my OpenWRT device. I am able to log into device via the terminal but I am not familiar with the terminal stuff for OpenWRT yet to get a connection in to my router.

Any suggestions as to why the Luci GUI is not working. I'm thinking maybe its a bug due to this being an unstable version.

LuCI is usually not included in snapshot builds.

You can install it like this via SSH:

opkg update
opkg install luci-ssl

Not everything you're unfamiliar with, is a bug.
Sometimes it's just a knowledge gap....

Thanks for the link which led me to:
https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-quick-start/ssh_connect_to_the_internet_and_install_luci

I was able to install luci with instructions in the above link and there was a radio2 in the wireless section which was my TP-link wifi dongle (now blinking green). Unfortunately I was unable to any connection working and after tinkering around I ended up deleting the ip address for the device and am now unable to log back in either GUI or terminal. I'm going to reinstall the whole thing and try again but the wifi dongle does work with the snapshot I downloaded. I will mark this thread as solved.
