Bandsteering and/or load balancing

I did some searching on this topic, found some old threads on OpenWRT, but no good solution.

How would I setup bandsteering with Lede? Ideally "force" to 5G when the client is close, moving to 2.4G further away and back to 5G when close enough again to improve overall throughput.

When that's possible...could we even do sort of load balancing over both radios??

You can Look at my Controller DAWN.
Disable (Set Score to 0) everything except freq and RSSI and Set good thresholds.

Works even If you have some 2.4 and 5 GHz seperaten Routers that are connected via lan. :slight_smile:
