AX3000T 24.10.2 SNAPSHOT - unable to install luci or include it in builder package list

I just installed 24.10.2 snapshot on Xiaomi AX3000T with FORESEE nand, so I had to go along with snapshot.

Tried two methods of installing luci from the guide both failed:

  1. Building failed with:
Quite a stderr from firmware selector with default package list

The 24.10.2 sysupgrade supports the foresee nand, just the uboot fip/bl2 from snapshot needs to be used.

Wiki says:

Warning! AN8855, Winbond and Foresee are compatible with OpenWrt U-Boot loader BL2 and FIP only in SNAPSHOT build. Meanwhile, ubootmod sysupgrade is fully compatible with AN8855, Winbond and Foresee starting from 24.10.0 version. You can use Snapshot U-Boot loader together with 24.10.0 ubootmod version.

I don't use U-Boot - it's just an access point so don't need a lot of space.

How about this table and PR?

This was merged 3 days ago, and surely is not included in 24.10.2 is it?

Ot does the issue fixed by the PR above manifests only with openwrt u-boot?

24.10 is still using opkg, only Main/Master is using apk

Yes, I'm aware of that - as I mentioned in the initial post, I'm on snapshot

I am curious, I'm using a forsee nand device. I guess I'm lucky and haven't come across an issue yet maybe!

I was able to build a snapshot image with luci-ssl using the firmware selector

Are there snapshot builds off non-master branches? I was under the impression that snapshot is only the master branch being built, mentioned the version so it's clear what version is it for the future readers.

Anyways, it's snapshot and I did have apk as shown in the code snippets in the initial post :slight_smile:

@d687r02j8g will give it another change after work, maybe it was some temporary issue. Maybe I was doing something wrong? I just followed the luci install on build guide (link in first post) - so just firmware selector > Customize installed packages and/or first boot script > (don't change anything as luci is there already) > hit build

The default content of the custom packages was for me:

Yes every branch has its snapshot.

So if you write 24.10.2 Snapshot that is branch 24.10 snapshot, you probably meant Main/Master Snapshot :slight_smile:
