AW7916-NPD not detected

Did a fresh install on my x86 Qotom PC. AW7916-NPD is not detected. Have installed the Wireless drivers for 7915e but that did not fix the issue. Any recommendations? I see some have gotten it to work.

what does lspci say about it ?

My apologies. Which package do I need to install to obtain lspci?

It's pciutils

It is detected it is just showing up as generic. I am not sure why this is but it is the same for me. Are you using an AsiaRF module? If so lmk if you get 6ghz working. I am un able to get it to work.

That aspect is purely cosmetic, it serves no functional purpose anymore (it kind of did in the olden times, when multiple different driver backends existed, but these days it's mac80211 or nothing). For popular devices, the iwinfo contains a (small) hardcoded list of vendor-/ product ID mappings for displaying this, but again, that's purely cosmetic (and should probably just be removed, rather than extended).

Cosmetics matter too. It gives a feeling of well-supported hardware.
