Automatic switching on/off of the radio antenna

Can any point me to some literature? is it possible to have set times to auto on and off the wifi?

Cron runs in the background of linux? a daemon? interesting, I'll look into it, thanks

From GUI you also could install luci-app-wifischedule and wifischedule (done automatically if you install the luci-app).
The menu option will be: Services / Wifi Schedule.
Cron jobs can be done from Luci GUI: System / Scheduled Tasks.
