I cannot connect to internet nor ping, please help!

Edit: in my neighbour s wifi page who has same isp, in wan page, authentication type is AUTO_AUTH and other options available were PAP, CHAP and MS-CHAP.
and in my openwrt, it says pap/chap username and pap/chap password. Is that causing the problem?

Are you sure you are typing the right credentials?

Yes i confirmed with isp!

Please copy the output of the following commands and post it here using the "Preformatted text </> " button:

Remember to redact passwords, MAC addresses and any public IP addresses you may have:

cat /etc/config/network

Also, restart the WAN interface, and copy here the messages you see on the logs.

I am going to reset the settings and try again.
Please tell me if these steps are correct.
After reseting the settings,
I am going to connect the router with my pc as wireless is turned off by default.
Then I am going to turn on wifi, remove router from pc(as the wan port is away from pc), connect pc with wifi.
Then go to interface, and select the middle one which is Wan,
Select pppoe, enter username and password.
Then ideally it should work right?

Yes, that should work.

Tried again, not working.
Saying AUTH_TOPEER_FAILED.
when I go to diagnostic, and ping, it says bad request. And traceroute says server not found.
