Ath10k-ct R7800 grumblings

For me, 5ghz band performance is similar on ath10k and ath10k-ct, but 2.4ghz is far worse on ath10k-ct.

ath10k-ct 2.4GHz problem, especially for some OLD model mobilephones/wifi devices.

ath10k-ct has zero impact on my 2.4 Ghz connections.

In the past I had issues with ath10k-ct. Now everything is running great, both 5ghz and 2.4ghz.
With that being said, I don't have many old 2.4ghz devices. The oldest is device is an old netbook (running Windows 10 and Linux).

2.4ghz suffers from interference from microwaves, bluetooth, every wireless access point ever, personal hotspots, baby monitors, etc, etc. Most wifi devices only connect with a 20mhz wide connection (1/4 of a typical 5ghz 80mhz wide connection)

Expecting good performance on the congested 2.4ghz band while you wait for airtime after all these other devices have already “phoned home” is futile.

Good expectation management is to put internet of things devices on 2.4ghz (don’t care about latency or speed, just need a connection). Put all you faster devices on 5ghz only.

Hi, tested your NSS build on my R7800, works perfect, got ~930M internet Lan speed.

But your EA8500 NSS build, not work on my set, no Lan port functions, serial port login ok.
Thanks
