Hi,

OK forgive my ignorance, but I'm just exploring what everyone says is impossible just yet.

Regarding the above wireless adapter, I presume it won't operate in AP mode? Is this correct? I can't find anyone or anything, not even ASUS, who will answer this question.

My understanding is if it did, and if I could get a MD/driver combination that would work, I could then build my nice Wifi 6E OpenWRT DIY router, or am I leaving something out?

The provided vendor drivers suggest this card being a rebranded Intel ax210 card, which would indeed imply it being unsuited for AP usage (or more specifically, to only support very limited AP functionality on 2.4 GHz).
