You can use these images. I'd just like to see your broken images too.
Try installing these images and enabling the Wi-Fi modules.
And I'll figure out how to get the build system to build TRX images without Wi-Fi.

I have managed to pull the firmware off the Asus website.

Thanks, but unit had hardware fault and already RMA'ed.
Russians have created an archive of all older Asus firmware: https://disk.yandex.ru/d/8uYITeoKL8TrJA (change language at bottom right)
Checksums can be round elsewhere like on snbforums.
The best piece of TUF-AX6000 recovery help is hidden over in the AX4200 section:
You do need serial and mtd0/mtd1 but it works great. (won't fix hardware faults)
Iāve been running the latest 24.10, any reason to hold off on installing 25.12 stable?
Has anyone upgraded to it yet?
Only have one left but updated fine to 25.12.0 with no issues.
Read the release notes. A major change is multi core sqm; however, it is not working on filogic currently.
I upgraded today using Attended Sysupgrade, with config preserved.
Upgrade took maybe 30 seconds from the start to reboot.
No issues at all so far, all settings preserved, but I'm using my unit as a dumb AP, so there wasn't that much to preserve ![]()
I think I might have been too early in my positive assessment.
It appears that the WPS button is not working after the upgrade.
Before the upgrade, I used the WPS button for a custom LED toggle script. After the upgrade the WPS button itself seems non-functional.
What I checked:
/etc/rc.button/wps exists and contains the normal dispatcher/etc/rc.wps/ contains only stock 40-wps_ap and 50-wps_sta/sys/firmware/devicetree/base/keys/mesh/label = wps/sys/firmware/devicetree/base/keys/mesh/name = meshlogread nor in ubus listenCould you check how are your devices running 25.12.0 behaving?
Could it be AX6000/filogic issue or did I break something / it's just my device?
If the only issue noticed so far in 25.12 is the WPS button not working (and even that still needs to be confirmed, though) -- that's actually pretty good news for those who don't really use the WPS button.
Thanks for sharing your experience.
Flashed fine for me but WAN and WAN6 interfaces didnāt work so I had no internet, reverted back to 24.10. This is reported many times in the release thread, will likely hold off until the next release.
Successfully upgraded my main Asus TUF-AX6000 router from OpenWrt 24.10.4 to 25.12.0 via LuCI without preserving the config, and then restored the configuration from a backup.
Everything is working perfectly (wifi, vlans, pbr, ddns, wg, rclone, samba, ..etc)
WAN and WAN6 also work fine for me with the default DUID enabled.
Just updated to to 25.12.0 using the LuCI attended systupgrade UI and keeping settings. So far everything seems to be working normally.
Yesterday, I bricked my router while attempting a attended sysupgrade to version 25.12. I couldn't revive it without opening the router case. Be especially careful; if it works, don't touch it. Don't get into trouble.
25.12.1 - no issues (wireless disabled for this unit)
bugs:
25.12.x - DUID issues on some ISP's
25.12.1 - certain wireless clients might hang; I think the patch got reverted for next release
