Asus RT68U without 5GHz?

Hi,

I'm currently using the latest Kong DD-WRT build, but Kong left DD-WRT and is now developing for OpenWRT.

I see on the OpenWRT Page that the WLAN on my 68U is not compatible with OpenWRT because there are no drivers.

My question is now, why can I use 5ghz on DD-WRT?

Because and because DD-Wrt has access to closed blobs (probably under NDA).
