Asus rt-n56u broken ethernet ports, flash with serial?

Hi, my old awesome router has broken lan ports but wan, wifi and usb works. Currently running padavan firmware, but since the releases has ended a while ago I looked around and found out that openwrt now supports it (nice!).
But update by webui does not exist on openwrt, so my question is can I do it using the serial connection? (Since tftp and recovery tool is not working)

Sure, you'll have a system shell listening over serial by default - and busybox vi at your disposal.

Like this -> https://oldwiki.archive.openwrt.org/doc/howto/generic.flashing.serial ?

If so, how to I figure out those hex values?

Did you check the wiki entry?

New URL: https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/installation/generic.flashing.serial

The old page is for archival purposes only and does not receive updates any more.

Yes, but Iā€™m not sure which addresses to use. Any suggestions?

I have no idea about that, but maybe it helps if you check the OpenWrt documentation for similar Asus devices (with similar SoCs) concering serial access.

Do you not have access to TFTP? Or does that not work on the WAN port?
